‘Win&Lose’ to vie at AnimArt fest

Iran’s ‘Win & Lose’ is to take part in AnimArt Filmfest in Greece.

Iranian short animation ‘Win & Lose’ is selected to take part in the 15th edition of the AnimArt Film Festival in Greece.

The 3-minute short, directed by Mohammad-Sadeq Hosseinpour, will go on screen at the main competition program of the Greek fest.

‘Win & Lose’ is about two boys who play volleyball together from the two sides of the barbed wire. The two belong to two countries in years-long war. The boys play with one another regardless of all their poverty and the animosity that exists between their homelands.

Once one of the boys’ artificial limb comes off and breaks, the other shares his own prosthesis with him.

The film has already been screened at various global film events including, the International Human Rights Film Festival in France.

The AnimArt Festival is a platform for students from all over the world to participate in their animated films, digital artwork such as paintings, cartoons, photographs, etc.

The event will be running from July 20 to 25 in Hydra Island in Greece.
